Phrasal Verb - To chip in

Finding it hard to speak during a meeting ?
Here’s a way to politely join a conversation. Use the phrasal verb : to chip in. It means to interrupt.
Like a few other phrasal verbs, they can have two meanings. “Chip in” also means to contribute to.

Examples :
- Can I just chip in before we move on to the next point ?
- I’m so happy everybody chipped in with innovative ideas for the team building day out.
